About this item

  • Fits Hybrid and Commuter Bikes: for 700c wheels with 33-50mm tires, including 700 x 35c, 38c, 40c, 42c, 45c and 47c, on hybrid, city, fitness, touring and commuter e-bikes; 700c is also called 28"
  • Easy-Fill Schrader Valve: tops off at any gas station or home pump, no adapter needed; the 48mm stem is easy to reach on deeper rims
  • Built for Daily Riding: Maxxis Welter Weight construction with a 0.80mm butyl rubber wall shrugs off potholes, curbs and road debris while keeping weight to just 130g
  • Reliable Air Retention: premium butyl rubber holds pressure longer between top-offs, ideal for everyday riders; also fits gravel and cyclocross tires in this width range
  • Trusted by Riders Worldwide: designed by Maxxis, a world leader in bicycle tires and tubes; fit one tube now and carry the second as a ready spare

Two Maxxis Welter Weight 700x33/50 inner tubes, each with a 48mm Schrader valve, made for hybrid, commuter, city and fitness bikes that get ridden every day. Rough pavement, potholes, curb edges and debris in the bike lane are what these tubes are built for: the 0.80mm butyl rubber wall is Maxxis' general-purpose, puncture-resistant thickness, sturdier than the brand's 0.60mm Ultralight race tube, while each tube weighs only about 130g. Each tube covers 700c tires from 33mm to 50mm wide, including the popular 700x35c, 700x38c, 700x40c, 700x42c and 700x45c commuter sizes, plus 28-inch and 29-inch tires 1.3 to 2.0 inches wide built on the same 622mm rim. Quick fit check: the tire sidewall shows an ISO size such as 40-622. If the first number is between 33 and 50 and the second is 622, these tubes fit. Many 700c commuter e-bikes and touring bikes run tires in this range as well. The Schrader valve is the same type used on car tires, so you can fill it at a gas station air hose or with almost any home floor pump, no adapter needed. It needs the wider Schrader valve hole found on most hybrid and comfort bike rims; if your rim is drilled for the narrow Presta valve, choose a Presta tube instead. The 48mm valve length suits standard-depth rims. Always inflate to the pressure range printed on your tire sidewall. With two in the box you can replace the tubes in both wheels at once, or fit one now and keep the second in your commute bag or garage as a ready spare.
