281Z TERRAIN thermal base layer
is designed for intensive activities connected with profound sweating. It is made of one of the most complicated Polartec baselayer fabrics - Polartec Power Grid. The geometric constructions of the fabric generate targeted touchpoints for the patented bi-component design to manage excess moisture. The next-to-skin surface is hydrophilic and absorbs sweat vapor to transfer it outside the garment. Then the outer surface disperses moisture for more efficient evaporation. The grid design also creates open air channels that improve breathability, and reduce fabric mass. All this performance is wrapped into a comfortable design. We used all our experience in making performance military clothing to create a versatile and comfortable garment which would look casual and will be good and comfortable for everyday use, but will retain the performance characteristics and durability of military ones.
